Project summary
Deutsche Bank required specialist IT support across a number of its London-based business functions, alongside a major programme to outsource operations to Singapore. Working as part of the development team, I delivered business-critical applications for teams across the bank and took responsibility for managing the migration of more than 200 applications between the London and Singapore operations.
The challenge
My work supported a diverse range of business functions, including Controlling, HR, Treasury, Audit and Compliance, across both the Corporate & Investment Bank and Private Clients and Asset Management divisions.
I managed projects throughout the full development lifecycle, from analysing business requirements and defining scope, timescales and costs, through to design, development, testing, implementation and user training.
Alongside this development work, I was responsible for coordinating the migration of more than 200 applications from London to Singapore as part of the bank's wider outsourcing programme.
This required close day-to-day liaison between teams in both locations, ensuring applications, knowledge and operational responsibilities were transferred effectively while maintaining continuity for the businesses they supported.
